Manufacturers are trying alternative skin care with vitamin C do not have this problem of oxidation or cost as much to produce. These new anti-oxidants are not as good as vitamin C although other naturally occurring substances, vitamin E and lipoic acid to achieve the same effect.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant and component of human blood whose purpose is to help increase the body's immune system against diseases including cancer. On the other hand, lipoic acid or alpha-lipoic acid is necessary for the production of energy that keeps us alive, it is in every human cell and a second function is to repair skin damage caused by the normal aging.
Other phytochemicals have proven beneficial in formulating anti-aging skin care, they are removed from different plants. An additional benefit of these phytochemicals is their ability to prevent the onset of breast cancer, prostate and colon, which are on the rise worldwide.
Other B vitamins also used in anti-aging, such as vitamins B5, B6 and B12, for example. This only serves to underscore the complexity and far reaching the whole field of skin care anti-aging and why much more research is needed.
Over time, new discoveries are made to promote understanding of the aging process, and products that can reduce or reverse the effects best. Hopefully these problems will be solved eventually, and better and cheaper anti-aging skin care products are made.
However, human skin-care systems should be used only to supplement, not substitute for a natural skin care remedies. Simple things that can make the difference between slow down the signs of aging, and these are sports, deep sleep, to maintain good eating habits and eliminate stress in your life.
